此前，据央视新闻报道：当地时间5月20日凌晨，伊朗红新月会应急管理指挥中心就伊朗总统莱希乘坐的直升机发生事故发布相关公告，披露了最新的搜救措施。公告表示，根据土耳其无人机在伊朗塔维尔村探测到的两个热源地点，红新月会救援团队正在向可能的事故发生地点进发。目前共有73支救援队参与到事故直升机的搜救工作，其中23支配备专业设备的救援队已经从首都德黑兰以及周边省份派出。公告指出，发生事故的地区多雾、多雨、能见度较低，尽管环境恶劣但救援工作仍在进行。19日，载有伊朗总统莱希和高级官员的一架直升机发生硬着陆事故。
